1982 small date?

I was going through my 1982 coins when I found this one. To me it looks like it may be a small date.

It is, but the rare one from that year is the 1982-D small date copper variety. The typical 1982 small date and large date examples have no extra value.

Looks like it. Still only worth 1 cent, however.

Small date. Literally billions were minted.

  • Thank you to all. I realize the D mint is the one that is worth money but it gives me a standard for looking at the coins now. I'm new and appreciate all the input given.
