-TR is more stringent in who is allowed in, even though some suspect traders have gotten in and quite a few good traders were kept out. Result=Neutral.
-TR is getting box breaks and the management is planning new contests. Results=??, mainly questionable because it would be in direct competition with CE's box breaks(as I see it) and CE has established itself as a true collectors site.
-CE is lenient but not lax on who is allowed to join the site. Result=Positive, keeps out the David Diec's and Rusnacks while letting good traders join.
-CE has had box breaks and giveaways for a long time. As well as nice contests. Result=Positive.
Again, I'm not a member of either site. If I would join a site, it would be CE easily over TR. I don't like the "Power" of the site being in the hands of 3, many others feel the same way. A council of members who are elected by their peers on a thread would be the best way of going at it. CE has a great layout and is overall an excellent site. I haven't seen the TR site since it switched sites the first time. I was a member on the original TR, but was rejected when I was told to apply again when the site was switched. That didn't, and doesn't, make any sense to me. If any of the managers would contact me about this, I would appreciate it greatly.
I'm not trying to knock down on TR. I've heard good and bad stuff about it, but it sounds like a great site.
Thanks and God bless,
Shawn
PS-Could one of the managers of TR explain to me why I was rejected after being accepted on the first site? I know I have made mistakes in the past, but I still like to know why I was accepted on the first site then rejected on the second. PLMK via pm. Thanks

Actually TR does have a council of 4 people who were elected by TR members. They help out the 3 other managers.
I think the new TR site will be great and I look forward to it.

say you are involved in a documented trade with another member, and he rips you off. jsa and the managment reimburse you for the cards you lost out of their own personal collection. THAT is what makes the community what it is. not just helping out someone in distress, but caring about the fellow members enough to get involved.

Maybe you should actually know about the site, ie being a member, before you give your opinion on it. You do know some stuff but you don't seem to know much about the new TR. Chris.

This is a good trading site: card trading fools
And I do not understand why people such as skivermont3 were rejected for TR?
Many Refs, just ask.

I don't know why people bash TR, every site has their problems. Plus why bash TR on a post like this? Are you jealous?
I'm back - you better believe it

Do yourself a favor and join both, we each have something to offer. We have resolved not to be in competition with each other because we are two different sites. Good luck TR.
Well said & a refreshing point of view.Kudos.

"TOOLET "- It's Toilet, please learn how to spell before you post.
Actually, as most of the members know I play varsity FB for my school. I'm going to make the baseball team this year as well, but your right, I do sit around and watch games.
"I DON'T SEE YOU ON THE FIELD EVERY DAY WORKIN YOUR BUTT OFF"-Actually I box at Main Street Gym in my town as alot of members know. If your ever in the area, come by. I'll knock you around for a couple rounds til you quit.
"IF THE TAMPA BAY DEVIL RAYS STINK U MUST BE THAT STUFF I FLUSH DOWN THE TOOLET EVERYDAY BECAUSE IF U WERE ANY BETTER U WOULDN'T BE SITTING THERE WATCHING THEM PLAY"
You don't know anything about baseball do you. Here's a idea, stick to pokmon cards, t-ball, and 3rd grade. Hopefully in a couple years you'll be able to spell at a level where you won't be considered illeterate. But I know your mommy says your "special" but she really means that she didn't want another kid running around and you were just a "accident" because Pops forgot to use protection. Then the abortion went wrong, so you came out premature, so instead of your Mommy calling you a "slow-a$$-mutha-fu(king-retarded-b*tch", she says your "special".
Have a nice day.
"slow-a$$-mutha-fu(king-retarded-b*tch".
MAN YOU CAN'T SPELL EITHER WHAT'S THAT.I'M 13 AND SPELL BETTER THAN YOU LMAO,I PLAY BASEBALL,FOOTBALL AND BASKETBALL I KNO ALOT MORE ABOUT BASEBALL THAN YOU O YOU DON'T LIKE MISTAKES???HUY BOXER Y DON'T YA FIGHT LIKE A REAL MAN WITHOUT GLOVES A MOUTH PIECE AND HEAD PROTECTION O I FORGOT UR MOMMA IS SCARED U'LL GET HURT MOMMA'S BOY...LOL..

Neils Card World
A little about me. I am a collector but have never traded. I have a problem letting my cards go. I am a business conultant and help companies use technology to improve. I am also the editor for the category 'Sports Cards' at most major search engines. I see to it that the sites in the directory are valid. I look at every last one before putting it in the directory. Here is the link to AOL's search result where my name is at the bottom>>> AOL 'Sports Card' Search
I also run a website that is for dealers and serious collectors to discuss the industry. It is called ModernEraSports.com. We have members like Rob Veres of Burbank Sports Cards and T.J. Schwartz of Porky's. They both write for Beckett and Tuff Stuff respectively.
I too like seeing lots of sites for collectors. Especially the ones that are independant of the big companies. I hope to see more new sites that improve the experience for the users.
