1986 Donruss RR is an awesome card.

I will renew my suggestion that PSA grade the factory set bricks.

I am partial to the 1985 TCMA Syracue Chiefs - pop 9 and still only 26 in 9. He has a second card in that set with Dale Holman with no 10's.

The '87 and '88 Blue Jays Fire Safety cards are a lot of fun, too.

I keep up with the minor league cards but I lot of people don't. That's why i didn't mention it. I have a bunch of Larry Walker's from that set/year, one PSA 10.

I would think his rare 90s inserts would be both more valuable and more desirable than junk-era rookies.

I would think the 96 mirror gold and 98 crusade red to name a few would outshine the rookies.

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

What's your opinion on the 1987 Fleer Glossy?

I bought a few sets looking for Bonds cards and got some stunning McGriffs.

I realize he had cards in 1986. I really like the look of the '87 Fleer set!

1993 finest refractor, 1991 desert shield come to mind. but those might also be worth more than most people's rookies

I think it is a very attractive set, but it does have a pretty high print run. around 75,000 or so sets.

of his rookies, I would think the 86 Leaf would be the most desirable.

I went through about 8 1986 Donruss factory sets and subbed 4 McGriffs about 2 years ago. 3 10s and 1 9. I kept 1 10 for the collection and sold the rest to cover grading costs of the entire lot. Hit I higher percentage on him than Canseco he was 2 10s and 3 9s from what I submitted.
