Old Card Show Flyers

I was going through my collection and found folders of all of the card shows I attended in the 80s-early 90s. Probably 200plus.

I find them fascinating, not to mention the flood of memories that came back. Most of the shows were the tri-state area. Some days my mom and I would go to 4 shows to get autographs. I was 13 and she was a saint.

Does anyone remember the name of the terrible shows in New York City? They had big names but you took your life in your hands with the crowd and lack of organization. I remember one of the 86 Mets getting angry and flipping the table. I was thinking Gleason? or something with a C?

Now those are pretty cool. I wonder if I ever went to any of the shows you have flyers for. It is a longshot as I did not go to a lot of shows in New York.
