According to what the thread below indicates, I would say --- No ---. For whatever the reasons might be, it seems that the best QB's just haven't transitioned well into coaching. As a matter of fact it would seem that being a very, very good PLAYER in the NFL is almost a disqualifier and that the opposite might be true, the best Head Coaches aren't very good players and they recognize that. In fact, the current trend seems to be that Head Coaches don't even play past College, they get right into coaching. Further, if the second link is accurate, many current Head Coaches didn't play very much in College.

I suspect that a player such as Tom Brady knows his skill set and knows what his limitations are. That's probably why he's headed to the announcing booth, right??

I think Romo would be a good coach more than Brady

And coach Brady is going for it on 4th and 3, can you imagine hearing that?

And coach Brady would never call a passing play on 2nd and goal with the Super Bowl at stake, like some people we know.

He would make a great coach, I don't care what anyone thinks!

    I have no idea...

Seems those that one might think would be a good coach were not... others were. My point is simple... being a great NFL QB has some distinct differences in the skill set required to be a great coach. Feel free to ask Otto Graham. I know he unfortunately passed, so it would be a rather one-sided conversation.
