Finally acquired a much desired piece

I’ve wanted a very nice Elizabeth I 5/- for quite a while. But always the quality wasn’t there — poor strike, too many gashes or excessive haymarking — or the asking price was too optimistic. This coin has the quality I desire, but without the usurious asking price. This coin is ex Lingford and Frederick Willis.
(The obverse rim knock and the flan flaw do not bother me.)
SCBC 2582, mm 1

congratulations, it has a great amount of detail and eye appeal. I would also love to own
one but they are way out of my price range.
Congrats - always nice to get one you've been searching for a while.

That's an obverse portrait to be proud of.
Steve, congrats. It's been a while! Hope you're doing well buddy.

Nice addition EVP!
Thanks for the nice words everyone!
Yeah, sadly this issue’s price is driven mostly by demand than by rarity. However, finding well struck high grade pieces is difficult.
Hi Dan! I’m still alive; I’m more active on Facebook these days having found several more active and more focused groups for my specific collecting interests. But you know how to reach me. If you ever make it to a major show like NYINC or the ANA WFoM, call, text or email me to hook up.

Huge detail on that piece! Congratulations! The rim ding bothers me a bit, the planchet crack not at all. Here is my s-2583, with a lot less detail, and good details are very difficult to find.
