2022 Ivory Coast 2 X 5 Ounce De Greef Edition Signature Kookaburra Silver Coin Collection

The successful Ivory Coast series “Edition Signature” continues with an impressive and somewhat menacing pair of Kookaburras on 2 x 5 oz .999 fine silver coins with antique finish. The front facing Kookaburra is additionally enhanced with black platinum on the beak and white rhodium on the chest feathers while the beak of the right-looking bird is partially gold-plated.

This is the current issue in the popular high relief Imperial Art series, the 2022 "Persia". The reverse of the coin again impresses with its exquisite detailing. On the left side of the coin is an image of the Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, which is a work of Iranian Safavid construction. It is located in the famous Imam Square in Isfahan. The construction used delicate tiles that change color from cream to pink during the day. The mosque is a UNESCO World Heritage List. The entrance to the mosque is decorated with an agate insert.
