                          Ken,

                          I was suppose to go to the 9th. Landed in Long Binh in Feb of '68. The 1st Cav. had taken so many casualies, outside of Hue during Tet, that they changed my orders, and sent me north. Had to go get the marines out of Khe Sanh in Mar. - Apr., '68. Was in Ah Shau Valley Valley exactly one year before "Hamberger Hill".
                          Headed south to the "fishhook" area (Quang Tri) in Oct. My unit was the one that went into Cambodia(after I had left!).

                          Hey, if it wasn't for Tet, we could have shared a paddie! image

                          Let the "pissin'" begin! LOL image
