Back from the Hack Attack!

MrEurekaMrEureka Posts: 24,330 ✭✭✭✭✭

Hackers took over my e-mail account November 15 and also managed to access my forum account. Then they ran a fairly ordinary scam, sending messages from my e-mail account asking people to help pay for some of my purchases, and explaining that my PayPal account had been closed. At least four people fell for it, and another few came very close.

It's now sorted out, I think. But in the interim, I asked to have my CU account locked for a few days. If anyone tried to reach me and couldn't, please try again.

**And please be careful! They're sill sending out requests for money in my name, using a new e-mail account that looks like it could be mine, but isn't. **

TTT, just because they're still at it. Now using their own e-mail addresses, which conveniently happen to include my name.
