    Nice piece and great opportunity for someone to pick up a presentable example from the Rock.
    This is one of the few post exchange tokens that are so rare they made replicas to supply the demand. They can be found at the gift shop at Alcatraz:


    The one in the OP is the real deal, and much better than some of the examples out there found with major issues. When the PX closed, they apparently dumped them in San Francisco Bay and from time to time, an example surfaces. You can imagine what seawater does to brass.
