Toned Peace Dollars

I was wondering why a lot of Peace Dollars have odd toning (brownish) Is there any specific cause? Thank you :)

Type collector, mainly into Seated. Young Numismatist. Good BST transactions with: mirabela, OKCC, MICHAELDIXON

    Not all Peace Dollars have Odd toning.
