I want to trade silver for newer South African Rands currency for an upcoming trip. I've got the Mexican 1 oz Libertads below that I'm willing to trade. They look much better in person - I couldn't capture the luster without blowing out the picture.
700 Rands per Libertad
PM me if interested. Plenty of board refs available on request.

Early 5 oz pucks, all graded. Price Guide values are on the right, some retail for a bit less, some for more, but we can use the guide values as a starting point. I managed to get another left facing Perth 20 ounce silver bar so I'm auctioning off one of my right facing swan logo 20's that AllEngelhard says there are less than 100 of.
Link to auction:

Would love to own this. Bet it's going to go for over $1,500 on eBay easily.
That said I'd bet your going to be the new owner.
For the record I've no idea what it will sell for. I haven't seen one of these in a true auction format, ever. I think $1500 would be very optimistic for a seller but you never know. Anything could happen, we shall see.
Not me. I just sold some englehard bars for way more than I expected to get. Also, I've been watching the Stacks Bowers PM auctions and the vintage stuff is through the roof!
Good luck @Cladiator!
I got outbid around $450ish which was higher than I should personally paid for gutter anyway. Congrats to the new owner and hope you are happy with the sale. RGDS!
It sold for enough to get me a handsome profit so I'm happy. Sure I'd like to have seen it hit the prices others were predicting but I thought that was a long shot. It's nice to see what the market says they are truly worth.
Neat bar.
If it had been an older vintage and/or American produced, I presume the premium would be higher.
Still, $31.50 per oz is pretty good. A lot better than the unrealistic $22.50 .
