Awesome toned Canadian 1959 proof-like (PL) cent

For me, this coin was impossible to photograph to show all the cool toning in its old PCGS slab. So, I decided to send it to our hosts here, for a PCGS Gold Shield reholdering. I love the coin even more now.

Awesome cent. How does one tell a PL issue apart from a regular business strike?

There are two things I look for with PL strikes:
1. The rims are flat with square edges
2. The finish on a PL coin looks like it has a very thin layer of glass on it, i.e., the texture has a glossy look especially in the fields
BTW - nice pretty coin SPP
