Canadian Edward the VII Medal

I'm normally pretty good at attribution but this one has me stumped after a thorough search using my normal resources. It is a medal, presumably from Canada. It is 24 mm in diameter and appears to be silver though I haven't had it tested yet. (I'll know the composition in a few days). The enamel on the reverse appears to be genuinely old, perhaps as made. The Obverse inscription: "EDWARD VII KING OF GREAT BRITAIN IRELAND AND ALL THE BRITISH DOMINIONS BEYOND THE SEAS" The Reverse inscription: "DOMINION OF CANADA" with "P.W ELLIS C" below the coat of arms. (Note the "C" is lower than "ELLIS" so maybe a mint mark?). The Edge is plain. If anyone recognizes it and can provide any information, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Collected Canadian coins for over a decade and followed auctions closely and never saw this piece before either. Reach out to The Canadian Numismatic Company (Mark or Eric) if someone knows they would be it. They have handled so many rare coins and tokens in the last decades.

Just shot them a e-mail with the images once you contacted them maybe they will solve this one. If not they can ask around.

There are so many of these little medals, it's impossible to be aware of them all. This is not one I can recall seeing. P.W. Ellis was a medalist and jeweller out of Toronto. The C wouldn't be a mintmark. The enamel probably would have been applied privately, or by a person or company that purchased the medal after its production.
