I recently purchases this second ATG drachm for a discount because the seller could not tell if it is a lifetime issue or not. One thing Im also wondering is why is it so different compared to the other one that I have?
By the way its about twice as thick as the first one.
It also does have separated legs.

"Twice as thick", but it's smaller; I'm guessing the weights are about the same? The weight of an ancient coin was far more important to keep consistent than size or design.

@Sapyx and when I said about twice as thick I meant the edge of the coin

As I said, consistent weight was more important to the ancients than consistent size, or even consistent design. Remember, these coins are not machine-struck, and the dies were not made in the same way modern coin dies are made. Each die is made by hand; details should be similar, bu should not be identical.
