is this a period counterfeit trime?

i've seen a lot of rough trimes but usually they don't have this look.
i bought it with another i recognized as a period counterfeit so i figure the odds of this one being one goes up a bit just because of that but none of the details seem wonky like they do with period fakes most of the time.
i literally do not know but i'm leaning more towards yes than no but only just. don't have a scale to weigh it, only for items closer to 1oz or over.

That one looks beat up but genuine to me. Love to see a picture of the counterfeit it came with.

It looks real to me. The wear pattern may be a bit odd but those coins were so thin such wear patterns were possible.
I just sold one on eBay earlier in the week. Terrible photos, but they kind of look like this, generally:

Was this one you got from me? I totally whiffed on the one but realized it after listing that it was a contemp. I'm fairly confident the other(s) are real, if that was from me lol. Looks familiar, hence me asking.

if you were the person that listed a bunch of stuff over a few weeks at .99c, probably. listed a link on the BST to the ebay account?
Yeah, that was me, back in August.

that is a NICE coin and sales result. you have me beat many times over on that hammer price!
I can't believe I didn't even see this one, it's incredible. I have to double down on my searching if two nice examples slipped by me unnoticed.

fwiw. i STILL argue the algorithm does not permit us to view everything all the time. based on some quirky results i got over a decade ago, i decided (since the rules permitted it) to create multiple ebay accounts to help average out variances in the algorithm(s) for buying and selling.
when i use the ebay app, there are ALWAYS things i can find prices for but then cannot find them very often on the pc ebay version. go figure.
eBay's algo definitely plays games to their detriment for reasons I don't understand.

i remember some PM and probably a thread now i think about it.
iirc, of all the stuff you sold, i bet the trimes were the least on your mind. there were a lot of nice dollars bringing nice prices and i'm not saying i even saw the best of your stuff. a little irked i didn't win a couple/few more items though. hopefully i lost them due to a healthy market.
Looks real but beat to heck.
Real

No, you don't you can leave them all for me :-)
BTW, got an email from Winston Zack that the book is supposed to be printed this week!!! Can't wait...
And if you have more money than sense, he's posted his PCGS/CAC contemporary counterfeit for sale at 10K.

Here is my vintage counterfeit. An XRF test shows that it is not made of silver. The date digits are off (wrong style). Otherwise, it looks pretty good:
