Long Baseball memorabilia lost for ever

Yesterday night former player of Cincinnati Reds, shortstop 1970-1988. Announced, his country house in Maracay Venezuela, small ranch in fact, was gone due a flooding and mudslide with all contents inside. All his own awards 5 golden gloves, 2 silver slugger awards, rings, and a huge collection of baseball items from others players, cards, bats, gloves, jerseys, photos etc. all is gone forever. I feel very sorry for him is 77 years old.
