Brady has not thrown a pick since week 1

in Sports Talk
I guess while trying to see some positive so far, I noticed that Tommy has gone 222 consecutive attempts without an Interception!! that is pretty good for an old feller. I believe his career best was back in 2010. 335 consecutive passes that season.
all time record holder is ARod with 402. now that is a lot!
did I just jinx Tommy??

During 1990-91 Bernie Kosar had 308 consecutive passes without an interception, a record at the time, stretched over about 12-13 games. That's a pretty incredible feat that almost amounts to a full season!! What it really highlights for me is how much the game has changed in 30 years because if Brady makes it that far he'll only need about seven games.
In 1990-91 teams actually ran the ball, perhaps even as much as they passed it. Not anymore, but however you cut it that's a lot of throws without an Int.

I think that this thread is going to take on a unique life of it's own...as many do.
@maywood mentioned Kosar's record. That record started during the 1990 season and ended during the 1991 season. If I am off on this please correct me. That record was the one that Brady broke, and subsequently Rodgers. 1991 also happened to be the first season for Belichick in Cleveland. Here are some youtube clips from that year. What did you think of Belichick back then @Maywood ?

8 TD passes in 6 games won’t get it done. I believe TB misses Gronk more than we know
"I spent 50% of my money on alcohol, women, and gambling. The other half I wasted.
Agreed!!
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

I think he realized he wasn't quite ready, so he sought out his mentor at the time, Bill Parcells, and prepared for the future.
