Not listed in Brunk, trying to find additional information . . . . .

I had an interesting new counterstamped piece arrive yesterday. I'm still trying to find out information on the creator. It is done with a well designed arced stamp.
No idea who / what BELL WILCOT might be. Not listed in Brunk. Anyone have any idea on this one?

I think it is likely a surname "Bell-Wilcot"

My thinking is, whomever stamped this Peace Dollar must have done other coins. The stamp text is on an arc. It had to have cost a few $$ to have that created. Even if the stamp was intended for other marking purposes, I should be able to find some kind of references.
My Google-Fu is weak . . . . The only think I have come up with is Margaret, who obviously pre-dates the creation of this piece.

BTW, that is my "self-slab" holder, not NGC (I wish) . . . . .
I use those to help equalize the "white balance" of my photos. Works really well methinks.

looks to be to be individually stamped letters. they do not follow a perfect arc, which a
full stamp would.
probably just someone having fun
I was just typing the same thing. Letters appear to be individually punched in an arc pattern. Very bold punches at that, I am leaning towards late 20th century.

Agree. Individual punches. Likely a one-off pocket piece or souvenir.
the "I & L" contribute to the idea that these were punched individually.
I like it!
It's all about what the people want...
Woo Hoo . . . . "top pop" . . . . .
Thanks to all for the input. It had a "quality" look to it. Definitely a more affordable piece.
