I have had both positive and negative feedback on this coin. Please, I need your brains on this one. Do you perceive value, or junk? Either way, even if it is junk, it's such a curious coin to have that I may part with it only for a princely sum.
Say you what you must- But do observe some kindness either way. How art thou about this metallic gem? www.1943sbronze.com
Thanks be to you.

Send it to PCGS for grading. If it's a genuine 1943 cent, it'll be worth a LOT more in a slab.
But as a raw coin, based on that photo I don't see enough to convince me it's a 1943 cent.

Have you put under a electronic microscope to see is there is even a faint presence of a 3?

Reminds me of the 1894 S proof dime that the guy brought into Pawn Stars on one of their episodes.

There is no reason for the OP to agonize ir hypothese over this coin. Just get it slabbed. Then put it on a major auction of that's the end goal.
If it fails that process then it's a cull bronze cent.
As a raw coin it certainly doesn't merit its own website.
Not worth worrying about. Either spend it or drop it in a Walmart parking lot or sell it on eBay. Don't waste your money and time trying to get it slabbed.
Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.

I believe all the PO1 and FA2 1916-P dimes graded by PCGS are from those with the mindset of the OP.
