Davante Adams shoves camera man to the ground

craig44craig44 Posts: 11,206 ✭✭✭✭✭

after a frustrating end to monday nights game, Adams, while walking through the tunnel, pushed a cameraman to the ground.

Now, afterward, during the presser, Adams apologized. for me, too little, too late. I think this was bush league. it looks bad on Professional football, the NFL and Adams as a person. why cant some of these guys control themselves? I know, I know super competitive professional-level athletes. But come on. act like a human being.

should there be reprocussions?

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

No excuse unless the camera man got in his face, at that point he should be allowed to push him away but not to the ground, I didn't see it so can't make a proper opinion on it

Can't blame him for being pissed though, they had the Refs on their side, a 17 point cushion and they snatched defeat from the jaws of victory lol

I just saw it. No big deal at all I'm on Adam's side 100%, it was a little shove since the camera guy literally got right in his way to prevent him from getting in the locker room

Adam's gets a pass on this one

I think i look at it differently. If I am out and about in daily life, or even at my job, people cut in front of me fairly often. I dont think that gives me license to shove them out of my way. I am a bigger guy than Adam and could really hurt someone if I did. I may give out some dirty looks on occasion, but i think shoving people is way over the line.

    Just a common courtesy issue.

A case of two wrongs not equaling anything right. Adams certainly shouldn't have shoved him the way he did but that camera man shouldn't have been where he was. Maybe what Adams should have done was walk right over that idiot.

He shoudn't have shoved the guy on the ground just because he cut in front of him. If this is acceptable behavior then I guess the next time a stock boy cuts in front of me at the grocery store, I'll just crack him over the head with a can of pinto beans and walk off.

Cutting in front of you is one thing but to cut in front of you with a camera to stop you in your tracks?

People have a right to their personal space, I dont care if your bigger than Adam's or not that don't give people a right to stuff a camera in your face to prevent you from exiting anywhere

Here's the video of the shove. I don't agree with what he did but this is likely just a fine at best unless the camera guy says he's got hurt then tries suing him.

Imho, at least it wasn't as bad as Rodman's kick to the nuts of this camera man.

Homie looks like he's going into shock here lol.

What would Draymond Green have done?

Dennis Rodman, another nut-kicking thug right up there with Draymond Green.

Davante Adams has been charged with misdemeanor assault for this incident.

I watched the incident from a few different angles. I think Adams is in the wrong here. Particularly after seeing his post game apology where he didn't take full responsibility. He apologized, but has to make it seem like it only happened because the guy ran right in front of him. Well, we've all had people do that I assume. I would have liked to have seen his apology address things differently. Either way...

Thank you sir, you're the only one who responded to my post. You'll have to excuse me, I'm getting emotional.

Wow, just wow, this is the story that just won't go away. Davante Adams, after being charged with misdemeanor assault, has taken back his apology tweet to the cameraman he shoved.

I would imagine that his lawyers are playing clean up.

Once again you've come through for me, I'm sorry but you'll have to excuse me, I'm getting emotional again.

Thats exactly why he deleted the tweet but it won't matter its there

I also think it is completely inappropriate behavior. If I decided to shove everyone who runs, cuts, jumped in front of me at the local Walmart there would be a wave of bodies in my wake. Old ladies, tweakers, guys wearing socks with sandals...

seriously though, Adams was absolutely in the wrong here, and he needs to face up to the consequences of his actions.

That photo dude got off easy. I would have taken a harder line than just pushing him back where he does an academy award flop.
The photo guy needs and will get a new line of work.

    Have a nice day

It's a good thing this incident didn't take place in Texas, because Adams would have to deal with Walker Texas Cat. Remember, the eyes of the Ranger are upon you.
