I didnt get a pic of the other side but it looks like a denom i cant figure out or a fake?

ok. i see it is 3 groschen but it seems to have different lettering with the bust facing right.
I would not be willing to conclude that it is fake based on one image of just the obverse... I suspect it is okay

after deciding to purchase the coin and looking at other examples, the variations are VAST and i suspect coinage like this ventures out from the normal world catalog into specialty books.
the ring test for this item produces a sound as like i am not used to hearing from coinage, especially since i don't purchase coins like this very often.

is this a country with a specialty book for it's coinage? i look in the regular world coin cat and it just lumps all these MYRIAD of different dies into just the denominations, yet there are many that appear to be nothing quite different. fwiw
maybe i need to look up that video again that was posted here for the people using an algorithm to detect minute differences and be able to list different dies/marriages using technology that would save literally years/decades for what it would take humans to do to track, list and organize early and ancient coinage.
Not sure if there are specific books for 17th century Poland...

do you mean the individual states under poland in the catalog?
i did see a couple examples that were pretty close to mine, Elbing and one other i've since forgotten but i cannot find what you mean by Gumowski, Kopicki. unless you are referring to these?
