1990 Donruss top/bottom centering?

Anyone know the rule for top/bottom centering for 1990 Donruss?
I have several PSA 10s, and the bottom border is narrower than the left and right borders on most of them. The one I have with equal bottom, left and right borders (3 on GradeMaster) corresponds with the 3 on the top of the card being right along the top of "ONRUSS" but below the top of the "D" and the "90." (the Gwynn attached). If I center up the top of all the print on the top of the card with the bottom border, it results in a GradeMaster 2.5 top vs. bottom (the left/right is 3).
I found one BGS with 10 centering on ebay and it had the bottom left and right borders all equal width (like the Gwynn).
Many thanks!!

This is a good question and does contain an element of subjectivity. One can argue for the different ways of coming up with the centering for that card on a top-bottom basis.
I personally like the Gwynn card. The top does not have a clear line to measure centering. All that you pointed out are legitimate possibilities.

Thanks for responding - that's interesting, it never occurred to me that there wouldn't be an objective "answer" to something like this, but that makes sense. I think I agree with you, I prefer the Gwynn to the Clark.
no chance that all grading companies have the same centering parameters for various sets, like this 1990 Donruss set. Having cards that don't have to be perfectly centered yet still able to get a PSA 10 would be one reason for not being so stringent on centering, because for some sets it just isn't crystal clear on what should be considered "perfect" centering
There should be an objective answer that can be established by looking at an uncut sheet and seeing where it would be cut if the sheet were cut perfectly.
I like the Gwynn better also. Could the top of the "D" and the "90" in the Donruss90 logo not be used as a "line?"
When the bottom border is like the Gwynn, equal to the left and right, it corresponds to a "line" at the top of the "ONRUSS" - this seems OK to me, as I feel like there are other set where writing goes into the margins beyond the "lines" - but definitely eager to hear other people's thoughts!
Then again there are also sets I believe that have a different margin for top/bottom than for left/right - 1990 Upper Deck comes to mind because I was just looking at those, but I'm sure there are others...
1987 Topps is graded "incorrectly" if you like the top and sides to be equal.
