Wonder what this one would bring if I consigned to Kuenker next big auction ?

    PCGS 61

That is one amazing looking coin!!! Don't know the value of these so I have no guess.

I always wonder if those in fact actual sales - it seems (and not my series) that without being able to cite, that these coins find their way back into other auction house sales.

Well, perhaps the cynic in me....

Sounds like you are suggesting the auction results posted by Kuenker are not real 😉

Why would they post results that are not actual 😄

Kunker's multiple taler offerings on Thursday were impressive. Not too often you see a 10 taler piece offered; this sale has two.

BA - I think you miss my point and have jumped to a conclusion I never did. I am suggesting that many of these coins make the rounds of the various European auctions. Did I accuse this firm of anything? Absolutely not. I would have no idea if this seeming phenomenon is stemming from sellers, this firm or others, shilling in one form or other by the consignor or ?? whatever the etiology.
PS - by actual sales, I mean being placed with an actual collector however nebulous that term has come to be.
