    I'm not sure I understand the question. Do you mean auctions of famous collections that were held in the 1800s?

    Murdoch was 20th century (though just barely).

    Significant 19th century sales of early English material, which is of greatest interest to me, were:
    Montagu
    Devonshire
    Cuff
    Tyssen
    Pembroke
    Shepherd
    Dymock

    Correct - significant auctions held in the 1800s in England of English coins.
