have been following the news. Boy, this one looks bad. I hope those in its path leave town.

Thoughts and prayers to everyone down there. Living in North Carolina we've seen our fair share of storms in the past, so I know it's rough. Stay safe everyone.
Looks like it touched down in Naples. I really hope this is not as bad as they are saying...

a hurricane hunter who flew into Ian said it was the roughest of his career
this storm is no joke

I saw this mentioned over on BO but it looks like CSG,ebay's authentication expert on raw cards,is based in Sarasota,FL and that area is expected to get hit very hard during this hurricane. Good luck to any of our collectors here with packages going to/coming from Sarasota.

Reverse Storm Surge at St Marks Florida.
Praying for Floridians. As a Louisiana resident whom two years ago experienced Cat 4 Laura and Cat 3 Delta within a six week period in Lake Charles we feel the pain. The water from Ian is unprecedented. This will take months if not years to recover. Remain strong.
that is a scary sight. I believe tsunamis do a similar thing, sucking the water back out into the ocean before the big wave hits.

I just sent a card there yesterday.
My friends and teammates in or near the storm all did well. They know folks who didn’t fair as well
We're getting the leftovers from Hurricane Ian right now in North Carolina as we speak, it has been raining all day here and the wind outside has been gushing all day long, a really nasty day outside here today with more of the same tomorrow.
Power went out here (Holly Springs just south of Raleigh) about an hour ago. Still have power in G-boro DD?
We still have power at the moment, I'm in Greensboro and the wind is blowing really hard at times, the trees outside are really swaying back and forth and it's raining pretty hard. It's probably only a matter of time before the power goes out.
