    I recently switched to paper money after several years of my own coin “drought”.

    What helps is to have some smaller and relatively inexpensive side projects- as one example, I like the Mexico 20 Centavos pyramid coins introduced in 1943... great design and most can be located. There are other examples that easily work depending on your interests. I have significant droughts in my prime collecting interests and that is how it is...
