It number 58 and 59 yesterday and is chasing the triple crown. Some are saying that if he passes Roger Maris, he will be the legitimate single season HR king.
"This hasn’t been done in this era, someone chasing 61 [homers] clean like this and really no question marks about what’s going on in the game,’’ Anthony Rizzo said. “It’s really impressive.”

I think once HR #74 clears the fence, Mr. Judge will be the single season HR king.
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
Aaron Judge belted number 60, I'm tipping my hat to him for doing it clean.

There was the 99 day period this year when there was no deal in MLB. No testing was being done during that time. I can see someone bringing that up possibly. I say this because the narrative around Judge's season is all about him not using any banned "PEDs". I haven't followed his story too closely. 🤷
All he has to do is hit 62!
How do you/we know that.
It is very hard to believe something isn't "up", when he has 60 homeruns, while NO ONE ELSE has more than 40!
Steve
As far as I know, he's never been linked to PEDs in any way, if it turns out that he is linked to PEDs then I will certainly take my praise back. In my opinion the whole steroid era is a disgrace to the game and a slap in the face to the players who originally set the records without injecting themselves with needles until they were as big as the incredible hulk. If I were an athlete and I couldn't break the records clean, then I wouldn't want to break them at all, that's just my opinion.
It would not even give me a micro second of doubt if it was suggested he used peds at some point.
If he is clean then by all means congratulations to him
Steroids are a disgusting embarrassment to the game, here is what Ken Caminiti said about his time using them:
He told SI that he used steroids so heavily in '96 that by the end of that season, his testicles shrank and retracted; doctors found that his body had virtually stopped producing its own testosterone and that his level of the hormone had fallen to 20% of normal. "It took four months to get my nuts to drop on their own," he said of the period after he stopped taking the drugs.
Unanimous Triple Crown Winner.

Just out of curiosity I used Google to search for any 2022 drug test results for Aaron Judge, no matter how many different ways I phrased it and whatever keywords I used I couldn't get a straight answer.
Does anyone know if he's been drug tested in 2022 and can you provide a link??
....
I'm not advocating for or against PEDs, but a lot has changed in the last twenty years with regard to athletic science. Also, a topic that has come up here but is not on the forefront is amphetamines.
Aaron Judge is listed at 285 pounds. He probably walks around very close to 300. those are chiseled, 7% body fat percentage pounds. He is leading the league by 20 home runs.
anyone who thinks he is not using some sort of PED is a bit naive. guys have been using PED for at least 70 years.
remember, there certainly are drugs in common use today that will be on the banned list in 10 or 20 years. it has always been that way. just ask HOFers Mike Piazza and Jeff Bagwell.
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.
No way, steroids are just a myth
"When they can't find anything wrong with you, they create it!"
As I noted on the other thread, NO.
"Barry Bonds has the single season record of 73, so Judge needs 74 to break. Even Judge agrees with this:
