Came across 2 notes yesterday.
The first one. What exactly is this called?

Then, my second one. Qualify?
2013 "B" Duplicate Star?

Your first note is a regular serial number & most collectors would call it a "spender." For it to be special (a repeater) it would need to be: 28428428 (or similar) & for a radar it must be 28488482 (or some other combo which reads the same both ways).

For the second 2013 Star note, you should check out this Zegers/Winograd Project thread which might give you an idea of what is needed in order to pair it up with one already discovered. Another source of info for these can be found on US PAPER MONEY INFO page which was set up to help collectors of BEP currency.
