Orientation of coin in slab doesn't match the online certification photo?

Hi,

I recently purchased a slabbed gold coin (NGC holder, edgeview with 4 corners of white plastic holding the coin in place), and I noticed the coin in hand is rotated a little bit off center, versus the online certification photo having the coin perfectly centered.

Any idea what might be going on? If I shake the holder the slab makes a very small rattling noise, but the coin doesn't move.

    Coins can move (rotate) in the holder.

    I guess the simplest answer is generally right. Just a little surprised this happens, they are usually snug in the holders.

    There are threads with suggestions on how to fix, such as tapping a corner gently on a table, or using an electric toothbrush against the edge of the slab.

    I like that electric toothbrush tip. First time hearing of it. A bit more gentle than some of the tapping videos I've seen on You Tube.
