Ink on $1000

I have a 1934 $1000 with some writing on one of the edges about 1/4 inch long. Will the writing keep the note from being graded?

    No. It may get a mention on the holder, but they’ll definitely grade it for you.

    In the UK they would describe it as a "biro" mark. With PMG and PCGSC they would note the marking as "annotation"

    Unbelievable what high denoms sell for these days... Tape, pieces missing...
    500's are selling for 1150-1200 at the very lowest!!!.
