that is where the ebay system has failed. a new/low-level account like that should have seller restrictions in place for how much can be listed/sold each month. that item should not even be permitted to be listed also for the fact a TPG has called it not authentic.

i think you helped me determine where i can help on ebay. i will start reporting accounts that have items listed that should be too much for their account level and let ebay untangle it all.
the amount of absurdly priced items on the ebay is right up there, if not more, than the counterfeit listings.
if i were a shareholder or owner, i'd personally be ashamed to have so much of that crap listed.
now i just need to figure out which reporting category is apropos.
