Has anyone broken a BGS case and sent the card to PSA??

I was considering doing so with my BGS 8.5 SPx Francis RC, hoping for a PSA 9. If anyone has done this, please let me know the grades the card got from each company. Thanks a lot in advance

    BGS9.5 equals PSA10 by becketts standard.

    Graded cards suck. Just my opinion of course.

    By the way, wouldn't it suck if you were breaking the case and it slipped out of your hand and banged to floor? I don't know if I would take the chance, unless the case is easily able to break and get away from the card so it won't fu(k the card up.

    i got a 1985 topps mcgwire psa 7 out of its case and i damaged it on accident so it is probably like a 5 now image

    oh well the psa 7 was only $12 image and i still got a big mac rc

    Big Mac...blah...more like Big SAC...I never liked that guy. Not only did he annoy me with his lame expressions on his face and always trying to be friendly with the media, but he wasn't good for anything except hitting homeruns. BOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGG...

    I have a fault-proof method of removing the cards. I use my fathers Dremel Tool to cut them out. I have removed 5 or 6, all with no problems

    No RocktheMic they are not equal. A BGS 8.5 is a NM-MT+, and a PSA 9 is Mint (as is a BGS 9). Witha grade of 8.5 my Francis books around $800, and with a grade of PSA 9 it would be $1000.

    Derrick, i am not big on grading either, just because the cases are hard to store, but as least PSA cases aren't an inch thick.

    I busted a SOSA LEAF 8.5 AND SENT IT IN TO PSA . IT came back trimmed . BGS will grade anything . Keep it in the case .
