RIP, QE2. For those of you who have not seen “The Crown” on Netflix, I highly recommend it.

I'm thinking some of the Perth stuff Lunar, koalas, and kookaburras, for 2023 may already be in production. It will be interesting to see if we get any 2023 dated coinage with the Queens image.

If I had to describe her in one word it would be...

    Steady.

Sad day. I did not realize her death would have such a profound effect on me. I felt I lost a close family member. I always admired her all my life. Rest In Peace.

    I feel similarly.

I know next to nothing about the monarchy, but I always thought Queen Elizabeth showed pure elegance and class. May she RIP.

Exemplary figure in the transition to symbolism.

As Queen she met with Prime minister's Winston Churchill and Liz Truss. Churchill born 1874, Truss 1975.

During the Blitz in 1940 she was encouraged to go to Canada for safety. She flatly refused to do so. Gotta admire the 14 year old.

Sorry about the glare, I don't want to take it out of the capsule.
She has been on the throne for 70 years. That's exactly how old I am. Yes, she will be missed by myself and the world. A great lady in every way.
