Are all proofs double struck ,double die?

I came across this 1972-s lincoln proof with notching on N "in" there is an unusual S mint mark and THICK Ber in LIBERTY

That one is the very common master hub doubled.
Oh blah blah..its so pretty .took so long to take good photos. Life sucks

The master hub that made many dies was doubled so about half of all 1972 cents will show it across all mint marks.
It is one of the most minor doubled ones for the year.
Yes but I'm convincing myself otherwise because the photos from doubledie are not the same.my example shows the bottom of the right side of N split .the one that they show has doubling that I do not see in Trust
I saw a video on numismatic news about a rare double 72s that sold for big $ so ..are there actual double dies outside of master hub doubling

No, not all proofs are double struck. The mint did not posses that capability until around the time they could consistently produce DCAM coins.

the first thing to come to mind and never easy for a noobie to hear. i didn't like it when i heard it and now it makes MUCH more sense and is on a LOT of different coin series issues.
