Hi, I have been collecting trading cards for 25 or so years but I am on the fence with what I should do with this card. This card is great looking card, but as you can see it was altered at one time. I want to send it into PSA but I hate to see this card get cracked out of the case. I love the history of the T206 and this one is in amazing condition, considering its over 100 years old. Considering it was graded prior to PSA being founded I feel the value is also in the history.
I want to do what would bring the most value for the card because I've been slowly selling my entire collection and donating all my proceeds to nonprofits. Thoughts?

You should ask for opinions over at net54. There's some guys over there who are really into the t206s. It's even possible somebody there might want it as it is.
The most value will be PSA or SGC for this card. You could send it to PSA in the holder and ask for minimum grade of authentic. If it is not authentic then they will send it back to you as is.
Thanks a lot! Let me try out net54.
I wonder if ET means Evidence of Trim.
Card looks trimmed btw
id say for sure. the right edge looking at the front is wavy and the border is thicker at the bottom vs top.

SGC will grade it as authentic. Trimmed or not. PSA will not give a trimmed card a grade. (I am fairly sure of that).
Thats why I didnt want to crack it and send it in.
Leave it as it is. It’s 100% authentic and 100% trimmed with a common back. Someone looking for an album fill it’s probably in the $25-40 range.
