I have a pretty extensive collection of Notes from Portugal, my country of birth. Just posting a few for you to view.
We'll start off with Fractionals.
Early series issued by Banco Do Portugal
Series that was around when I was growing up. This one is my favorite, it depicts Queen Maria II who was 13 years old in this vignette.
High Value
And the navigator series prior to the Euro.
Thanks for looking.

Very dramatic looking designs! I can now understand why so many European collectors despised the Euro when it first arrived (such a pale, drab looking note compared to many countries like Portugal, Spain, Italy, etc).

@Serial_no_8 , I still find the Euro boring. Hence I have no Euro paper in my collection.

You're not alone. Many Europeans disliked them so collectors were not eager to save them for their collections. Therefore the first Duisenberg signature, which lasted a little over a year, are very collectible (some probably scarce, like the Portuguese 20 Euro printed at TDLR in London).
