Buyer Premium

Do all dealers pay the buyer’s premium when they buy from the auction houses? I would imagine that some dealers have a preferred status where the auctioneers waive some portion of the fees.

See the following posts. I had misinterpreted the question and answered the wrong thing.

As far as I know, all dealers and collectors pay the buyer’s premium in Heritage auctions. And I’m unaware of other coin auction companies offering discounts to even the largest buyers, either.

I do not believe this to be correct. The SELLER premium is negotiable. I am not aware of anyone getting the BUYER premium waived.
You are both entirely correct. I had interpreted the question incorrectly and had answered as if it were the seller's fee (seller's premium). It was my mistake to screw up my reading of the question. I will edit my post out so that folks aren't misled.
Thank you!

I knew you were only talking about the sellers premium in the edited post.
Terms of sale as stated before all auctions this sale has a buyer's premium of XXX% and then they announce the Terms that everyone goes by Dealer, or Collector, Internet Buyer..
In general everyone pays the same- however, some auction companies have it stated that if you pay "cash" your bp is X. If you are paying by Credit card, your BP is X+y.
In that regard- everyone CAN be on the same playing field.
