    That is a gorgeous coin - I wouldn't mind owning an example myself. Sure beats the garbage emanating from the US mint.

    Awesome piece. For someone who likes the 20 peso and the libertad, this is a strong possibility!

    Yes, that is me. Interestingly the Mo mint has released this design in pure medal form and a search on ebay will show these earlier 1 oz. pieces for sale as well as the OP coin in its 5 oz size and date of 2022...
    Yes, I have NO idea why they minted these....I will take a picture of the COA and attractive wooden box later today.

    For some reason, the (2016) one ounce piece is under the ebay listing "Mexican Elements", or [I think] "Elementos Mexicanos"....Sorry about the woeful Spanish.....

    I do not understand how this is NOT a Libertad since the main feature is a Libertad and issued by the Mexico Mint.
