If money is no object why even do this at all? It’s going to take 4-5 months to find out you’ve been had.
Sometimes money and flipping and being "under" on a coin purchase doesn't matter. Buy what you want. The advice here is top notch. Listen to it, as I do not know where you're going on the coin.
This is the way it is in my collecting world:
Who cares what the coin is worth in the marketplace. What it is worth to you is more important than anything. If you like it as a collector in the Hobby.
It's THE only reason to do what you did, but really for the wrong reason if you want to flip it.

While I see your point, there is a different between paying a small premium for something you really want and like, and paying double+ for something that realistically may nor likely would be worth that much if/when you decide you are bored of it or need the money. Unless you are going to hold onto it for decades, and never ever tire of it.
@jmlanzaf in all honesty I kinda hope you are right... But let's take that a step further... what if he's actually trying to help/shill for the company? This would be a perfect way to do it... Troll the forum that you overpaid by double plus for this wonderful coin, telling them that you've always had good experiences from that company (who apparently has a track record here - I don't even know who it is lol). And, they can keep us in the dark for months on its grade, if it ever gets graded.
Too conspiracy theory? Maybe... But I've seen stranger things turn about to be true!

If you're going for clueless buyers, this just might work. Are there many of those here?

I was until I started checking these forums, granted I learned a lot in a very short time, and the immediate responses would have certainly given me pause. You still might catch a stray bird or two. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut as they say 🤣
Well... 1995 DDO Lincoln cent was my first coin purchase ever.
Had just read about them in coin magazines and Coin World newspaper.
Drove down the street a block and asked the dealer if he had any...
"No... how about some Morgan Dollars? Buy something with history and value." He said
"No... " I said with vision of the great 1955 DDO dancing in my head. I wanted in early!
" Well, wait awhile for the price to come down..." was his parting advice.
I drove back to the library, found an advert in CW and blindly spent about $750 on three raw coins.
Finally sold them circa 2015 for about $15 each...
Held onto them for so long because I never wanted to forget the purchase,
In time, I made more dumb purchases.
In time, I got lucky balanced the carnage as the learning curve flattened a bit.
Hope I am wrong in this case.

Readers digest version for you, He sent it to GC for a grade and sell deal already.
Could have put money in the DJIA today and lost money a lot quicker.

Based upon what possible scenario?
The OP stated he has had prior positive dealings with the seller.
I wonder what the particulars of those “positive dealings” were? And why @justmenutty72 said what he did? Was he simply hoping it, does he think the coin is a Gem business strike or was there some other reason?

You're crazy...
Has anyone considered that the OP might not have bought this coin and he's just trolling us?
