Anyone hear what's happening with Ebay's push to end 1099s?

Several months ago I got an ebay request to contact my Congressmen regarding the $600 threshold on 1099's. I heard there was going to be hearing(s). Anyone have an update? Has it had any support in Congress?

I don't recall getting such an email but I understand their concern as it is a lot of extra work for them.
I'm doubtful they'll be successful considering we just hired 87,000 new IRS agents who will need something to do.
Dilbert's Heck might freeze over first.

Don't know anything about it, but I found this recent you-tube about pay pal interesting.
With all the money being spent just before an election, their will be great difficulties in getting any NEW fund acquirements stopped. Just an opinion.
