    Check your redbook, mintages are listed. If you don't have a redbook, and have any interest in US coins then definitely get one.

    I thought they only listed cents,but what do I know

    A book on common cents would help some

    The Redbook has all kinds of info like mintages, basic grading, common varieties, relative pricing (easily see which dates are common an which are rare), and a brief history of everything from colonial through Gold and commems.

    I bet that nearly every knowledgeable member on this board that started out collecting US coins has a copy (or multiples) and has used them frequently. Best $15 you'll ever spend on the hobby. You'll learn a lot from it

    No pennys are minted by US mint, only cents. Is this a trick question?
