At the ANA I did something funny.....

I was at Mike Dunigan's table looking at some of his cap and rays 8 reales. he had for sale.....speaking with him directly in front of me I thought to myself I needed more information on a couple of coins I was considering for purchase.....a 1860 a oe and a
1852 ca rg .

Instead of asking my questions about these coins directly to him I asked if he had a copy of Respandores with him that I could look at.... ...silly me B)

Mike is THE foremost expert on cap & rays 8 reales who co -authored RESPLANDORES with JB Parker for those of you who do not know.......:)

    Very polite as he handed me the book he wrote and I proceeded to look up the coins I was interested in .

    He verbally also gave me more color on the 1860 o ae
