Looks a little like Chief Meyers, but I don't think he ever played for the Pirates.
Sadly, no. I can see the deep-set eyes like Chief though for sure! I think this one might be a stumper, Lol!

Funny, my first thought was perhaps a young Chief Moses Yellow Horse, Probably not, although he did play for Pittsburgh.

With about 2% confidence I nominate Hal Rice. He was on the Pirates in parts of 1953 and 1954.
Based upon the uniform I’m thinking the picture is circa 1936-1937

Changing my guess to Adam Comorosky. Maybe this one is a few years younger than your pic. Definitely not 100% certainty.

It's not Adam but all of these are reasonable responses. The era is late 30's. It's labeled incorrectly by George Burke (I collect negatives).
