The brilliance of Novak Djokovic has inspired millions all over the world, the Serb continues to impress with his almost flawless game as he keeps winning titles wherever he plays.
Amongst the millions of fans around the world, American boxing legend Mike Tyson revealed himself to be a big admirer of Novak Djokovic, the boxing legend is a big fan of tennis as he has previously held training sessions with French tennis coach Patrick Mouratoglou. he also makes sure to attend the big events such as various Grand Slam tournaments as well.

Talking about Novak Djokovic as reported by Tennis 365, Mike Tyson said, “Novak Djokovic is my favorite player. If he’s okay, I really like watching him play. He’s my favorite because the way he came back from injury and beat guys like Nadal and Federer is impressive. He’s a real fighter.“

Despite being an inspiration to many, Novak Djokovic has been surrounded by controversies ever since the start of the pandemic due to his stance on the Covid-19 vaccination, the Serb decided to not get vaccinated due to which he has missed a lot of tournaments missing out on many potential titles.
Djokovic recently opted out of the Montreal Masters recently and his participation at the US Open is uncertain as well as the tournament organizers made it clear that they will be respecting the US government’s immigration rules due to which Djokovic’s entry into the country won’t be possible until he decides to get vaccinated.

21-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic’s chances of playing in the US Open tournament later this month received a big boost when American health chiefs relaxed nationwide coronavirus guidance for unvaccinated people two-and-a-half weeks before the start of the tournament.

The former world number one tennis player had not taken a vaccine against COVID-19 and because of that was barred from entering the United States. But now, despite being ‘unvaccinated’, Djokovic can play in New York.

The American authorities have made changes to the COVID norms. They have decided they will not discriminate between those who have taken the COVID vaccine and those who haven’t. This will allow the 2022 Wimbledon winner to play the final Grand Slam of the year beginning on August 29.

The CDC relaxed the guidelines but the vax requirement to enter the country is still in place. That's the reason why he was unable to play Cincinnati this week and withdrew from the tournament a couple of days ago.

Joker is the Lance Armstrong of tennis. Some day, someone from his camp and Nadal's will rat them out for PED usage.

    Coolstanley,
Is common sense proof enough? At least the mini renaissance Federer had in his 30s could be explained by changing rackets to a modern, larger framed racket.

You can say the same thing about any player. Novak is very carefull about what he puts in his body. He refuses the vax. I highly doubt he would use steroids.

I OTH will now watch the US Open with zeal and with pride to be an American. I respect anyone who watches carefully what meds they put in their bodies. I research out them all and frankly don't take any. But, a vaccine during a pandemic? That is doing the right thing for the human race and I bit the bullet to be a team player for my species.

In disadvantaged economies, one may not have the opportunity, but that does not include Joker Djoko. Then the question is, when healthy folks are not affected by the vax, why would one take a silly stance like this when it strongly affects their career and maybe if one gets is, it may even destroy ones career? Attention getting? Joker Djoko has some issues, not a team player, selfish, etc. etc.

Sounds like you need to do more research. There is virtually zero benefit to get a covid shot if you are a young healthy individual like Novak. The risk is greater than the reward. Novak is smart and did the right thing for refusing the shot.

coolstanley, "the risk is greater than the reward" is utter nonsense. Joker has had COVID twice, we know nothing about the long term (5-10+ year) impact of COVID nor why so many previously healthy people get long COVID. He was simply selfish and under-informed. Fortunately, he paid a price for his selfishness and ignorance which was a shock since you never see that happen to professional athletes.

How is he ignorant? You risk messing up your immune system, or even death if you get these clot shots. They are not vaccines. You mean, we dont know the long term effect of these covid shots? Hundreds of young athletes have died after taking these shots. And many more people have suffered illnesses. These shots can suppress your immune system. Novak believes in natural immunity. He has had covid, but he was just fine. Taking the shots, wouldn't have prevented him from catching covid. U.S. health officials have admitted the shots are ineffective. Other pro athletes refused to get the shots as well. He is far from the only one. All of his fans stand by his decision. Its his body. Politics shouldn't interfere with sports.

    Coolstanley,
Always fun when people lead with absurd statements that have no basis in reality. "Hundreds of young athletes have died after taking these shots", not sure where you get your misinformation but that is simply not true. There have been over 300 million vaccine doses given it the US to 180+ million people. There are 3 deaths that were linked to blood clots caused by the vaccine. In that time there have been over 1 million deaths in the US from actually having COVID. It is pretty clear which of the two options is actually more dangerous.

Your entire response is rife with other misinformation but that really isn't a surprise.

Anyway, Joker took his stand which he has every right to and accepted the consequences of his decision. He is one of the top 3 tennis players of all time without a doubt, I just think he has had doping and/or PED assistance along the way (most likely HGH). It is too bad the tennis majors don't take and keep blood samples, that would provide irrevocable proof.

The chances of a young healthy athlete like novak dying of covid is 0%. He has a much better chance of getting struck by lightning. Its sad to see that people like you fell for the hype.
