I finally have a dime or two to add to my Registry set! It has been a long time since I did it. Will update my set tonight I don't think I will move up but I will have a better set. I know have a few doubles! What ones to do I keep in the set white or toned???

Re your question about whether to add the "white" or toned coin to your set: I believe that the unwritten rule is that you cannot add a coin to your set if you own an even number of the coin. You must own an odd number--eg, 1 or 3 or 5, etc--in order to add the coin to your set. Thus it seems as if you cannot add either coin because it appears you own an even number.
Now Pat, I am sure the other guys will correct me if I am wrong. And, I want you to know that I, personally, voted against this rule. But, rules are rules, and so you seem to be precluded from adding coins and also seem to be precluded from passing me.
Yours in sorrow,
Mark

rules are rules, and I must tell the the unwritten part of the rule: If you find yourself, in the situation you are in now, with an even number of coins and cant add to the set, PYTHON1 gets the WHITE one sent to him, and this will allow you to add that toned one to the set of your choice.
Just kidding....have fun with it! Nice to have extra ladies around....lol

Rules are Rules and I agree. You just Plain Are Not Allowed a Addition when You Own a Even Number of "Adolph's Beautiful Ladies" Dennis (Python1) stated this but He was DEAD WRONG on which Dime Must be Sent to a Registry Member, who Just Happens to be "Fairlaneman". Now that All of This is Perfectly Clear Immediately send the Toned Dimes to "Fairlaneman".
By Sending the Dimes and Following Mercury Dime Registry Rules You Will have a Chance of Catching Mark.
As Mark also Pointed Out We All Voted Against this RULE but Some How without a Majority Vote it Was installed in the Official Rules of "Adolphs Beautiful Little Ladies" Addition Criteriory. I also Concur with Mark's Sorrow with Your Dilemma but what else can I say besides SEND THE TONED DIMES
Respectfully: Fairlaneman (Ken)
Please Have Some Fun Also. I'm Sure You Will NEVER Make this Mistake Again.
Post them now!! We are all waiting to see your new additions. I only have a minor upgrade (67 for my 45-S), but I hope to do something else in the not too distant future.
Will this move you up any?
1935

Congratulations, those are some nice additions/upgrades. You've been a busy guy. Those gaps are getting more expensive to fill, aren't they?
As for the rules, I didn't vote for them, either, and everyone seems to deny having done so. It must have been due to a "butterfly" ballot that no one understood, or hanging chads, or something like that. Do we have Merc collectors from Florida?
Jim
OK I will ask for forgiveness. It's easier than getting permission.
Isn't this fun
Pat
How about a White `29 in 65fb to replace the 'colored' one that replaced the white(?) one?? Got another in mail today!
Colored? Sounds like a racial slur!
Sort of Toned..... maybe Even a Little Too Dark...... We will see when they reach the New Holding Area........
Man BIG PICTURES !! Told You it was a TEST.
I just picked up another 1921-P that you'll really like this time. Only a GD-04, but it is a dime instead of snookering you guys with a half. Ought to get it in the mail tomorrow or Wednesday.
It looks like you're making progress on your type set. The '40 No Drapery is definitely the better of the two. I'd try sending that one off to PCGS first. Are you planning to get any of the 19th century coins in MS, or are you going for a more uniform look with high grade circs? It figures that you'd show pictures of dimes.
On the Merc front, I should have another additon this week, but after this I have nothing else in the pipeline. There are still a couple of supposedly easy dates from the '30's (plus the '35-S) that I'd like to pick up, just so I'd have all of them from 1930-1945.
