Do error coins lose significant premium when they are “details” graded?

I was poking through some interesting error coins and saw a group listed as various “details” grades such as; pvc damage, scratch, wheel mark, and rim damage.
I know for normal coinage a details grade is typically a deterrent except for rare or really old material, and I was wondering if the same applies to errors?
I recognize everything is subjective yet I was hoping one of our local error experts might give additional information or opinion.

Yes, As a major error coin buyer I do not buy "details" graded coins.

If I just wanted one to have for its oddity factor and not for a collection or resale, I wouldn't care at all for it to be details, but otherwise no.
