Staple holes?

I got this note graded recently, saw no pinholes or staple holes, no light shines through holes when exposed. Two dealers yesterday said they did not see any holes, only black dots. What do you think?

Pinholes can be really, really hard to spot or find. If you really believe CGA commented on no-existent flaws, give John a call. Maybe he remembers the note and can help you. If you, and others are unable to find pinholes with the note in hand, then posting scans probably won’t help any members here.

I contacted them and customer service said that I could send it to another service and if they don't call it a problem note then they would refund my money.

It’s also possible that a crafty former owner expertly closed the holes. I’ve seen that comment on holders before- “Closed Pinholes”. Here’s an example from the Heritage archives.

That's a high value note. Mine isn't and doubtful anyone worked on it.
