Dolphins fined a 2023 1st rounder while having to pay 2M for tampering with Tom Brady & Sean Payton
Dolphins lose their 2023 first round pick and 2024 4th round pick.
Miami owner Stephen Ross fined 1.5M and suspended through Oct. 17th keeping him from team facilities/events
Miami vice chairman/limited partner Bruce Beal fined 500K
Rosse & Beal tampered with Brady while he was in NE then again while he was with TB. They also didn't ask the Saints for permission to talk with Payton.
Ironically, these punishments were heavier than what the Patriots received for Spygate.
EDIT: I missed the part in the article that mentioned the Dolphins losing a 2024 fourth rounder on top of next year's 1st.

Please, anyone, do you also feel a bit slighted by Brady with this new news? This is currently changing the way I look at his last season in NE and a lot of the narratives surrounding it.
I was pretty surprised to see that there was contact while he was in NE. I guess it sort of comes down to when they were actually talking with him, if it was after the Patriots season had ended I don't look at is badly had it been going on with games left to play. We all know that teams tamper behind the scene every offseason,in Miami's case it just looks worse because it was three seperate incidents on top of all of the Brian Flores "pay to lose" talk.

My gut is now telling me that he was completely checked out on returning for most or all of that last season, and nothing was going to keep him around. It seems as though this would have been in season. They are saying it was only him once, other than that his agent. Is this right? 🤷🤔👎👎🏈
methinks Stephen Ross is a slimeball
