Do sniping services still work on ebay?

Please forgive if this has been discussed recently. I haven't done much with cards over the past couple of years. Just starting to renew a couple of old interests for my collection. I don't visit here much anymore either.

Are there sniping services that still work? I know there was a time where ebay was able to start blocking some of the services. Though there has been some healthy discussion about the subject, I still like to use it because of my busy lifestyle. Otherwise, I tend to forget when things are ending.

No issues with esnipe - I've been a customer since 2005.

In all years I've been there only 1 bid with a 3 sec or more setting I've placed out of thousands failed to go through. As for setting of 1 or 2 seconds some do fail (I'd estimate 5%) but they do warn you about those so it's fine.
